The Wall of Awful : ADHD


So a video I watched here introduced me to the idea of “The wall of Awful” and the special guest Brendan Mahan made the point that ADHD created emotional barriers towards tasks we have previously been unsuccessful in. So to complete those tasks you have to climb over the wall or put a door through the wall. Putting a door through the wall works in the short term and is done by changing your emotional state when facing a task. This recently helped me finish an assignment I’m 3 weeks overdue on and thought it would be useful to others. There is more to the video but I didn’t watch it because… of… my ADHD
